How to Choose the Right Printer and Removable Label Combo for your Woodworking Shop
We often get asked about how to choose the right label printer and label product from our online store. While we are not equipment suppliers, we are pleased to share some of the recommended Zebra printers that have received positive feedback from users, paired with the RiseClean labels that fit them!
Keep in mind that it's crucial to verify the equipment specifications against your current and future needs before making a purchase.
Please note that RiseUp's RiseClean Removable Labels print using DIRECT THERMAL technology, meaning no ribbon is required. Ensure you purchase a printer that offers direct thermal printing. If you need to switch your printer from thermal transfer to direct thermal printing, we recommend telling AI what printer you have and asking it to give you instructions on switching it over and recalibrating for the new labels.
Need to Know for Labeling:
Store your labels in climate-controlled environment, such as an office space.
Purchase labels in quantities up to 6-9 months supply. Do not exceed a 12 months supply in order to ensure product quality.
Ensure proper application of label by making sure all corners of the label are firmly down on the wood part.
We can and will produce any label size you need if you don't see your size in our online store. If you don't know what size you need, consider our most popular 4”x2” and discuss with your team.

Choose your label application - You will need to select your label application method. If you are tearing off the label from the printer and applying it to your wood product by hand, look for the Hand Applied category. If you have an auto labeler that is applying labels with a machine arm, look for the Auto Labeler/Machine Applied category.
